He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Smith Murphy and Lee Gaston Murphy; and his siblings, Charlotte Lundy and Clearman Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Martha Murphy of House; his daughters, Kim Viverette (Todd) of Union and Michele Reid (Dean) of Nellieburg; his grandchildren, Bailee Viverette, Luke Viverette, Murphy Dean Reid, Shelbie Reid and Ellie Reid; and his brother Jack Murphy of Byram.
