He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal C. Moss Sr. and Clara Belle Moss. He is survived by: his significant other Elaine Moss; his children, Sherry Shannon and Hal Moss III (Sue); his stepdaughter Mercy Bailey (Scott); his brother John (Jenny); his grandchildren, Casey (Mike), Carson, Chase Davis (Samantha) and Will Davis (Shannon); and his great grandchildren, Hal, Phillip and Jack.
The family requests that memorials be made to Gideons International, Byram Camp.
