With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Derrick of Byram, Mississippi, who passed away on January 8, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Linnie Mae King Denley; her husband Otho Ralph Derrick; her parent Thomas James; and her siblings, George, Lawrence, Edgar, Joe Denley, Mary Eubanks, Eunice McKee and Velma Denley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Wright (Alan) of Florence, MS and Lynn Reagin (Charles) of Byram, MS; her granddaughters, Stephanie Coleman (Jesse) of Pearl, MS and Lindsey Sumrall (Thian) of New Mexico; and her brother Robert Denley (Paula) of Terry, MS.. She is also survived by two great granddaughters in MS and one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
