He is survived by: his children, Robert Pitts (Betsy) of New Jersey, Daniel Pitts (Meredith) of New Jersey, Andrew Pitts (Cindy) of Clinton, Brandy Dewitt (Josh) of Florence, Sherry Bryant (Jimmy) of Crystal Springs, Tonya Daniels (Michael) of Florence and Charlotte Lee; his siblings, Walter "Dean" Pitts of Kiln, MS and Faye Elizabeth Bruce of Florence; and also, Joseph McLaughlin, Faith McLaughlin and Lauren D. Pitts. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
