She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dewey Whittington and Susie Sophia Keen Whittington; and her husband Elbert S. Hutto, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Elbert Hutto, Jr. (Paula) of Jackson, Susan Hartzog (James) of Clinton and Sharon Cooksey of Florence; her grandchildren, Brad Hartzog (Jennifer), Michelle Johnson, Chris Cooksey (Allison), Heather Giles (Grant), Chad Hartzog (Lana), Holly Cheek and Elbert Hutto III; and her cousin Virginia Balius. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.

Due to the current pandemic, there will be a private family funeral service on Sunday, January 24, 2021 with Rev. Brad Hartzog officiating.

Memorials may be made to Daniel Memorial Baptist Church.
