With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon B. Muirhead of Byhalia, Mississippi, who passed away on October 1, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Freddie Evans; and his siblings, Dorothy McMullen, Juanita Follett, Jimmy Muirhead and Katie Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Susan Muirhead; his children, Jeremy Evans (Mindy) and Jennifer Muirhead; his daughter-in-law Brandi Evans; and his grandchildren, Taylor Evans, Rylee Evans, Elsie Evans and Hayden Blouin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
