She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kimbriel and Lovie Ruth Kimbriel; her husband Charles L. Wheeler; her siblings, Dorothy Betts and Thomas "Buddy" Kimbriel; and her close friend George Ely Jones.

She is survived by: her sons, Tim and Steve Wheeler; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Tyler Kennedy, Christan Cooper, Zachary and Grace Wheeler; and her great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kameron, Cayden, Crew and Carrigan Kennedy.

Memorials in lieu of flowers: Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, Collierville Tn.
