He is survived by: his wife Joy Cranford; his children, Lydia Schuchardt, Tim Cranford, Elizabeth Snyder and Tommy Cranford; his stepchildren, Jason Smith and Aaron Smith; and his brother Boonie Cranford. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
