With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Rebecca Gurley of Byhalia, Mississippi, born in Tupelo, Mississippi, who passed away on January 26, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Gurley; her parents, Mittie Marie Mitchell and Delley Mitchell; her daughters, Jacqueline Gurley and Janie Buyer; and her granddaughter Heather Humphreys.
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Gail Lemmon (Rocky) of Byhalia, MS; her brother Sonny Mitchell (Mavis) of Hernando, MS; her grandchildren, Cameron Fennell (Melody), Bronson Fennell (Danielle) of Byhalia, MS and Natalie Buyer of Memphis, TN; and her great grandchildren, Landen, Mackenzie, Blane, Allie and Mikayle.
