With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucia A. Schingle of Byhalia, Mississippi, born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Schingle; her parents, Salvatore Mascari and Prudentia Mascari; and her siblings, Rosaria Bosler and Salvatore Mascari.

She is survived by: her children, Lisa Bell (Ed) of Holly Springs, MS, Laura Sloan (Tommy) of Byhalia, MS and Leonard Schingle (Brenda) of Byhalia, MS; and her grandchildren, Ellen Schingle of New Orleans, LA, Madalyn Sloan of Byhalia, MS, Daniel Schingle (Jessica) of Columbus, MS and Allen Sloan of Byhalia, MS..

In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (http://www.stjude.org.) or to Queen of Peace Catholic Church (http://qopcc.com).
