It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Howell of Byhalia, Mississippi, born in Oakman, Alabama, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Emmitt Howell; and her parents, Opal Loucile and John William Minor. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Gray (Richard) of Byhalia, MS, Kristy Heiman (Rick) and Shayne Howell (Becky) of Shalimar, FL; her siblings, Louise Carson (Tom) of Opelika, FL, Sue Ross of Excel, AL and James Edward Minor (Martha) of Millbrook, AL; and her grandchildren, Erin Howell (Aaron) of Madison, AL, Rachel Gutierrez (Adalberto) of Olive Branch, MS, Ashley Lugar (Geordan) of Eads, TN, Bethany Allen (Michael) of LaVergne, TN, Stephanie Baker (James) of Winder, GA, Michael Gray (Samantha) of Collierville, TN, Nathan Howell (Ashley) of LaVergne, TN, James Helman of Nashville, TN and Joe Andrews of Nashville. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
