She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Wallis Sr. and Helen Mae Wallis; her brother Edward "Butch" King Jr.; and her daughter Teresa "Terri" Odom. She is survived by: her brother Charles Wallis; her grandsons, Chris Odom and Marc Odom; and her close friend Mary Sellers. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other extended family.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
