She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Wright; her son Larry Wright; her parents, Elton Nichols and Mary Emer Nichols; and her sister Della Van.

She is survived by: her son Jerry Wright; her daughter-in-law Glenna Wright; her grandchildren, Keith, Jeff and Jamie Wright; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Hunter, Avery, Kaylee and Nicholas Wright; her great great grandchild Jaxen Wright; her brother-in-law Gene Waldrup; her niece Tamma; and her friend Donna Waldrup. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, and family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's honor to the Alzheimer's Association.
