He was predeceased by: his parents, James Eldridge and Sarah Ellen Johnson Young. He is survived by: his wife Shirley E. Wiginton Young; his children, Billy J. Young, Jr. (Darlene), David W. Young (Diane), Patricia Gattis (Danny) and Theresia Brumley (Mike); and his brother James Ray Young. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
