She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Etheridge and Mary Francis Thomas Etheridge; her children, Elizabeth Huff, Shelvie W. Rutland Jr and William Boyd; and her siblings, Sy H. Etheridge, James Etheridge, Dale Allen and Estelle Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Boyd; her children, Elvira Boyd, Lee Ann Boyd, Becky Boyd Ervin and David Boyd (Klyce) of Florence, MS; her sisters, Elizabeth Dunn, Elain Bedford and Kristine Hawley; and her sister-in-law Donna Etheridge. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
