She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Barlow and Eugenia Moore Barlow; her husbands, Douglas Owen Porter and Robert Cotten; her siblings, Madge Barlow Seale (Millard) and Rayford Barlow (Ruth); and her great-nephew Kenneth Jordan.

She is survived by: her stepson Rob Cotten (Robin); her grandchildren, Allie Cotten and Emily Cotten Altazin (Kelly); and her friend Ruth Seal.
