He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Ezell and Nettie Ezell; and his siblings, Lucille Priest, Irene Priest, Edith Davis, Ethel Ratcliff, J. L. Ezell and Cecil Ezell.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Ezell; his children, Jill McCormick (Dunc), Christy Ezell Van Norman and Hunter Ezell (Deanna); his brother Claude Ezell (Pat); and his grandchildren, Tanner Van Norman, Anna McCormick, Brock Ezell, Kaitlyn Van Norman, Braden Ezell and Noah McCormick.
The family request memorials be made in his name to the First Baptist Church of Bude, Amazing Faith Center.
