It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Gaston West of Buckatunna, Mississippi, born in Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aden West and Elvis West; his wife Susie West; and his brothers, Selwin West, Aden Nathaniel "Pop" West and Grover Gene West.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Carr (Joseph) of Buckatunna, MS; his siblings, Sylvester West of Richton, MS, Sol Allen West (Lisa), Douglas Edward West (Betty) and Sylvia Jean Sturdivant; and his grandchildren, Kaleb Carr of Buckatunna, MS, Zachary "Jack" Carr of Buckatunna, MS and Annah Grace Carr of Buckatunna, MS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
