It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Nell Pittman of Bruce, Mississippi, born in Calhoun City, Mississippi, who passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Atkinson and Ruby Nell Armstrong; and her children, Patrick Pittman, Cynthia Pittman and Debra Pittman.
She is survived by: her son James Pittman (Jackie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Belle Memorial Funeral Home - Bruce (138 Washington St, Bruce, MS 38915). Viewing was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bridges Chapel Missionary Baptist Church (79 Co Rd 200, Pittsboro, MS 38951). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Clear Springs Cme Church Cemetery (818 Co Rd 300, Big Creek, MS 38914).
