She was predeceased by: her parents, O. L. Kimsey and Effie Birdsong Kimsey (Dennis Ray Murphree). She is survived by: her daughter Karen Swanson (Michael) of Bruce; her brother O. L. Kimsey, Jr. of Bruce; and her granddaughter Katelyn Nicole Swanson of Bruce.
