He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Tunnell of Bruce; his children, Joseph "Joe Boy" Melvin Tunnell, Jr. (Niki) of Bruce, Curtis Tunnell (Paula) of Bruce, Kevin Tunnell (Sissy) of Bruce, Jock Tunnell (Noel) of Bruce, Amelia Fox (Devin) of Calhoun City and Leslie Ferguson of Bruce; his siblings, Steve Tunnell of New Albany, Lamar Tunnell (Brenda) of Houston, Leonard Tunnell of Houston, Rose Barnett (Kenneth) of Houston and Gail Brooks of Houston; his grandchildren, Josh Tunnell, Hope Tunnell High, Danielle Tunnell Thomas, Hillary Stacy, Tyler Kilcrease, Holden Stacy, Nick Tunnell, Caden Tunnell, Jace Tunnell, Kylee Fox, Jaten Tunnell, JP Ferguson, Haven Tunnell and Hudson Tunnell; his mother-in-law Erma Bryant of Bruce; and his siblings-in-law, Barry Bryant (Kamai) of Greybull, WY and Betsy Ritchie (Mark) of Pontotoc. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
