She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Franklin; her children, Sandra Cain, Steve Franklin, Tony Franklin and David Franklin; her siblings, Emma Jean Ward, Etoyle Mason, Ann Newman, Charles Melton and Jimmy Melton; and her grandson Tony Woodall.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Terry (Jack) of LaVernia, TX, Stacy Duncan (Scott), Danny Franklin, Sarepta, James Franklin (Paula) and Brian Franklin (Mary); her sisters, Betty Fleming and Tot Edmondson; and her son-in-law Tommy Cain. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
