He was predeceased by: his parents, Nina Faye Peeples and Wilburn Ray "Tiny" Murphree of Banner, MS.; his brother David Allen Murphree; his grandparents, Ethel, Curtis Murphree, Nina, Edward Peeples and Eddie; and his great-nephew Miles Murphree Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Jeri Lynn King Murphree; his sons, Hunter, Eli and John Murphree; his siblings, Jennifer Murphree Wilburn (Sammy) and Ricky Murphree (Pam); his aunts, Cathy Stone, Ann Cofer (Bill) and Bonnie Cowsert; his uncle Wayne Clark; his nieces and nephews, Brittany Barnes, Michaele Wilburn, Justin Murphree and Travis Wilburn; and his great-nephews, Parker Murphree and Walt Barnes. He is also survived by his three sons, his brother, and friends.
