She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Murphree and Donnie Lancaster Murphree; her husband Ben Frank Hughes; her daughters, Mary Ann Dickey, Dawnie Mae Hughes, Linda Faye Hughes and Shirley Jean Hughes; and her son-in-law Jackie Dickey.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Wilson and David Hughes (Shala); and her grandchildren, Selena Cleveland, Nicole Lowery, Jackie Jay Dickey, Jeff Dickey, John Robert Hughes, Tyler Hughes and Ben Nelson.
