It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Connie Thomas (Bruce, Mississippi), who passed away on January 15, 2019, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Thomas; her siblings, Helen Smith, Patricia Coker, Toby Waldo, Ricky Waldo and Sammy Waldo; her parent-in-law Doyle; her brother-in-law Jackie Thomas; and her nephew Michael Thomas.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Alley Haire (Jake) of Bruce, Rhonda Waldo (Denise Smith) of Mercer, TN, Schawn Waldo of Batesville, April Waldo of Pontotoc, Amy Light of Doddsville, Cindy Robinson of Batesville, Cliff Waldo (Jennifer) of Coffeeville, James Waldo of Siler City, NC, Jackie Waldo of Nesbit, Jason Waldo (Nicole) of Calhoun City, Richie Carpenter of Indianola, Shane Carpenter of Doddsville, Chuck Cole of Batesville and Ryan Thomas (Angel); her sons, A. J., Michael and Kai; her siblings, Annie Ruth Cole of Crowder and Jack Waldo of Bruce; her nieces, Debbie Carter, Tina Bradshaw, Peggy Cole and Laura Cole; and her nephew Chris Smith. She is also survived by many children in Bruce and the surrounding area whom will always remember the attention and kindness she readily shared while helping parents.
