She is survived by: her significant other Vernon Carter; her children, Patricia Carter of Brooksville and Vince Carter (Cherish) of Brooksville, MS.; her sister Ethel Kinard (Larry) of Louisville; and her grandchildren, Faith Carter and Mitchell Carter.
