She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Toews and Hattie Peters Toews; her husband Roger Leatherman; her sisters, Delores Bentley, Mary Trgina and Rosalee Holdeman; and her siblings-in-law, Roberta Toews and Allen Leatherman.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy (Anthony Unruh), Merlin (Melgra Leatherman), Rodney (Bonnie Leatherman) and Patrick (Lori Leatherman). She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
