James Cecil Mapp Sr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Howell, Sr. and Elma Triplett Mapp; his wife Virginia Creekmore Mapp; and his siblings, Allen Mapp, Jr., Elma Hugh Murphy and Elsie Ruth King.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Hines of Brooksville, MS, James C. Mapp (Jim) of Brooksville, MS and John Mapp of Brooksville, MS; his sister-in-law Susan May of Shady Valley, TN; his grandchildren, Michael Mapp, Riley Mapp and James C Mapp, III (Morgan); and his great grandchild Olivia Mapp. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held following the funeral at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS at 3:30 p.m. Family requests no flowers please, memorials may be made to Brooksville Cemetery Fund, 586 Hines Rd., Brooksville MS 39739.
