He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie S. Sellers and Virladee Sellers; his wife Mary Lane Sellers; and his siblings, Elbert Sellers, Dan Sellers, Eunice Hagan and Lessie Carmichael.

He is survived by: his children, James Kevin Sellers (Sharon Sellers) of Oak Grove and Connie Sellers of Mesquite, TX; his siblings, Charles Ray Sellers, Ina Faye Miller, Mary Swilley and Bethel Eubanks; and his grandchildren, Hunter, Parker, Christopher and Summer.
