He was predeceased by: his son S. M. Tony Garza, Jr.; his parents, Rudy Fincke and Fannie Fincke; and his brothers, Martin Mello and Ray Mello Garza.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Garza of Brooklyn; his children, Darvin Laymon of Brooklyn, Tommy Daughdrill of Brooklyn, Charles Hefley (Michelle) of Dover, AR, Chelsea Daughdrill of Brooklyn, Liberty Barefoot of Brooklyn and Renee Massey (Freddie) of Dover, AR; his siblings, Linda Louise Boucher of Burnet, TX and Rudy Charles Fincke, Jr. (Deborah) of Burnet, TX; and his grandchildren, Taylor Morgan Barefoot, April Michelle Rose, Ayden Lee Daughdrill and Asher Jeffrey Daughdrill. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and many other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
