She was predeceased by: her husband Lenward; her parents, Willie Day and Velma Day; and her brother Harold. She is survived by: her daughter Lissa Roberts; her son-in-law Nelson; her son Gary Lee; her grandchildren, Matthew (Jennifer), David (Cecilia) and Anne (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Carson, Sawyer, Fisher, Sullivan and Emerson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the Samaritan Purse Operation Christmas Child.
