It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E Leftwich of Brooklyn, Mississippi, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lynn Evans Arnold and Nannie Jordan Arnold; her husband Eugene Porter Leftwich, Jr.; her sister Dorothy Lynn Darby; her children, Mary Ellen Merritt and Porter; her daughter-in-law Debbie Leftwich; her grandchildren, Ray Goodwin (Angie), Lynn Goodwin (Brooke) and Erin Peters; her nieces, Lynn Delas and Sheley Rose; and her nephew Keith Leftwich. She was also cherished by eight great grandchildren, one great, great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Mary Ellen Arnold Leftwich Endowed Scholarship at Delta State, the Methodist Children's Home in Jackson, MS or to your favorite charity.
