He was predeceased by: his former wife Dorothy McLendon; his granddaughter Jam-Pie McLendon; his stepson Todd Barham; his parents, Otis Leroy "Slim" McLendon and Annie Irene Evans McLendon; and his siblings, Joyce McLendon, Ruby Green, Edna Cameron and Joe Cooley.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria McLendon of Brooklyn; his children, Otis T. "O. T." McLendon (Becky) of Brooklyn, Irene Ralson (Doug) of Biloxi and Brandon McLendon of Brooklyn; his stepchildren, Kevin Broome (Melissa) of Birmingham, AL and Ginny Barham of Brooklyn; his sister Carmen Stewart of Brooklyn; and his grandchildren, Thomas Kerry McLendon, Shelby Lynn McLendon, Emily Ralson, Ian Ralson, Judy Ralson and Doug Ralson Jr.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and one step great-grandson.
