He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Bowman and Mildred Bowman (Crawford); and his siblings, Bill Bowman, Charles Bowman, Don Bowman, Steve Bowman, Gary Bowman, Peggy Brooks and Shirley Sammons.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Bowman; his sons, Michael Bowman (Crystal) and Jimmy Bowman; his siblings-in-law, Harold Turpin (Mary), Bobby Turpin (Karen), Georgia Lawrence, Jean Zaino (Joe), Peggy Perry (Gary), Teresa McCall, Tina Poe (Lewis), Fran Bowman and Carolyn Bowman; and his close friend JoAnn White. He is also survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
