With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tywana Nell Nettles Boyd of Brookhaven, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2024 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Nettles and Jesse Marie Smith Nettles; her parents-in-law, L. V. Boyd and Idell Boyd; her daughter Trista Lynn Boyd; and her sisters, Frances Ann Howell and Elois Busby.
She is survived by: her husband William Lavon Boyd; her sons, Christopher Boyd (Anita) and Joshua Boyd (Ashley); her siblings, Sonny Nettles and Audrey Berry; her grandchildren, William Boyd, Kimberly Smith and Ryleigh Smith; and her pets, Moe, Peanut and Ralph. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church (608 Antioch Ln NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
