She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Nettles and Jesse Marie Smith Nettles; her parents-in-law, L. V. Boyd and Idell Boyd; her daughter Trista Lynn Boyd; and her sisters, Frances Ann Howell and Elois Busby.
She is survived by: her husband William Lavon Boyd; her sons, Christopher Boyd (Anita) and Joshua Boyd (Ashley); her siblings, Sonny Nettles and Audrey Berry; her grandchildren, William Boyd, Kimberly Smith and Ryleigh Smith; and her pets, Moe, Peanut and Ralph. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
