It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tammie Louise Brister of Brookhaven, Mississippi, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Fox and Bobbie Fox; her sister Kim Germata; her grandparents, Nancy and Hilton Johnson; her uncles, Bill and Sam Johnson; and her grandson Riley Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Alana Mae Smith (Jamie) and Christopher Larue Smith; her grandchildren, Savannah Smith (Josh), Michael Gavin O'Rorke, Colton Smith, Lane Smith (Courtney), Lilli Anna Smith, Maci Claire Smith, Jasper Oz Sykes, Emma Kyzar, Declan Alexander Kyzar, Halle Ray Smith and Nova Mae Smith; and her great grandchildren, Harry Kumar and Heather O'Rorke.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to support breast cancer research.
