It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherri Michelle Bankston (Brookhaven, Mississippi), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ernest, Zelma Roberson, Clarence and Velma Hughes. She is survived by: her parents, Sherry Joan Roberson Miller and William Kent Miller; her children, Marissa Reynolds and Lauren Keely Bankston; her siblings, Crystal Shamille Rowell, William Kelly Miller (Crystal Nicole), Tammy Robinson (Gary), Todd Miller (Heather), Tiffany Horn (Jeff), Dwaina Smith, Samuel Hughes and Daniella Hughes; her grandchildren, Braylen Pappas, Avree Pappas, Isabella Pappas, Rylee Reynolds, Brantley Reynolds, Derek Reynolds and William R. Reynolds; her nieces and nephews, Alexandria Rowell, Shelbie Daivs, Kinley Sullivan, Preslie Surface, Jayda Savoy, Jovie Savoy, Jacy Miller, Janson Miller, Jersey Miller, Jetson Miller, Jiles Miller, Brendan Robinson and Macie Robinson; and her friend Michelle Greer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wellman Baptist Church (1918 Wellman Dr SE, Bogue Chitto, MS 39629).
