She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Case and Inelle Anding Case; her husband Leon Rushing; her daughter-in-law Patricia Rushing; her brother Robert Eugene Case; and her sister-in-law Kathy Case.

She is survived by: her children, Reggie Rushing and Regina Rushing Whittington (Michael Walker); and her brothers, William "Buddy" Case of Brookhaven, Charles Larry Case of Brookhaven, Marell Case of Brookhaven and Desi Lee Case of Brookhaven. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
