He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Strait Owen; his children, Ronnie Owen II and Tiffany Deal; and his siblings, Kenneth McClendon, Joyce Cuevas, Elaine Creel and Connie Owen Ashmore. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
