He was predeceased by: his parents, V. Ray Smith and Georgia Rae Gaskin Smith; and his parents-in-law, Horace Golmon and Clara Golmon. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Golmon Smith; and his siblings, Donald Gene Smith (Rita) and Doris Kay Fletcher.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (2162 Old Hwy 84, Brookhaven, MS 39601).
