She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlie M. Givens and Lethie Hunt Givens; her son Felix "Bo" Sykes; her siblings, Billy Givens and Carrie Lee Barton; her granddaughter Christie White; and her great grandchild Jalynn Nicole White.
She is survived by: her children, Velma Joyce Foster and Alfred Daniel Sykes (Shelia); her brother Carlie M. Givens, Jr. (Doris) of Citronella, AL; her sister-in-law Ann Givens; and her grandchildren, Kristi Morgan, Rusty Daniels, Christopher Lambright, Jeffrey Daniels, Preston Morgan, Kolton Morgan, Kassie Morgan, Michelle Bland Wood, Melissa Dunn, Wayne Sykes, Christina Sykes, Amanda Sykes and Jennifer Sykes. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
