He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Sue Nevels; his children, Litty Ann Nevels, Ralph Douglas Nevels (Sharlae) and Brady Scott Nevels (Renee); his sister Doris Brown; his daughter-in-law Letha Nevels; and his grandchildren, Alicia Thomasee, Adam Nevels, Cari Nevels, Lacey Nevels, Amy Shoop, Ava Grace Nevels, Jessica Nevels, Ashley Ryan, Daintry Stelly, Matthew Nevels, Alison Nevels, Heather Nevels and Amanda Sullivan. He is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren.
