We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2022, at the age of 98, Paula F. Walker of Brookhaven, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas "Tom" and Ruth Laird Franklin; her husband Carl Walker; her siblings, Vollie Franklin, James T. Franklin, Jr., Ethel Harris, Donis Gardner, Edith Dickerson, Vera Vickery, Emma Breaux (Associate Bachelor) and Margaret Landry; her children-in-law, Donnie Bruce Douglas and Betty Jean McKinion Walker; and her grandson Barrett Shelton.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Donald Walker, Paula Elizabeth Douglas Lea (Ronnie), Rosemary Walker Letchworth (Jerrell) and Katie Ruth Walker Shelton (Freddie); her grandchildren, James Brian Douglas, Carey Daniel Douglas (Nikki), Jennifer Ann Walker Whitaker, Chad Ryan Walker and Amanda Upton Bergeron (Jake); and her sister Bertille Johnson. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other family members.
