It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orval Shelly Johnston (Brookhaven, Mississippi), born in Yazoo City, Mississippi, who passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther and Zuma Parkerson Johnston; and his sisters, Joyce Guthrie, Sybil Creel and Alice Faye Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his sons, Darrell (Melanie), Bob (Michelle), Josh and Jason (Julie); and his brothers, Noble (Mae), Colon (Brenda) and Herb. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
