It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Morris Wesley Givens of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wash Givens and Maddie Martin Givens; his wife Helen Givens; his son Charles W. Givens; and his brother Louis Givens (Voncille).

He is survived by: his sisters, Marie Maude, Daisy and Mattie; his children, Arvin Givens (Edith) and Rita Coghlan; and his close friend Mill Watts. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and. 4 great-great grandchildren.
