He was predeceased by: his parents, Ricky Edwards and Diane Edwards; his brothers, Chris Covington and Greg Covington; his father-in-law Morris Brister; his stepfather-in-law Bill Boyte; and his brother-in-law Johnny Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Beth Brister Edwards; his sons, Richard Edwards (Emily), Devin Edwards and Evan Edwards; his grandchildren, Ruby Edwards, Emery Edwards and Weston Edwards; and his siblings, Vicky Bennett, Dana Smith (Rob) and Jeramie Edwards (Adriana). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Riverwood (76 US-51, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
