With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Smith Lea of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on October 13, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Coleman Lea; and her son-in-law Guy Hitt. She is survived by: her children, Pam Hitt, Terry Lea (Amy) and Tim Lea; her sisters, Evelyn Smith and Johnnie Jackson; her grandchildren, Jessica Bullock (Nathan), Tiffany Malpass, Katie Lea Adam Lea, Matthew Lea and Wade Lea; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Bullock, Noah Lea, Cole Bullock and Max Malpass. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Village 114 Marketridge Dr, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
