She is survived by: her daughters, Elaine Gipson and Nancy Haag (Bill); her daughter-in-law Sharon B. Smith; her sister Edith Smothers; her grandchildren, Shay Gipson (Sherry), Chad Gipson (Holly), Tracie Johnston (Daniel), Hayley Haag Moak, Clancy Smith and Marshall Morgan; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Gipson, Carson Gipson, Will Moak, Harper Johnston, Rhett Johnston, Savannah Gipson, Lily Jo Gipson and Marley Morgan; and her friends, Katie Reid and Betty Smith. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1502 Friendship Ln NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery (1502 Friendship Ln NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601).
