It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Elaine Ramsey of Brookhaven, Mississippi, born in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles S. Cannon and Winnie Maude DeLaughter Cannon; her husband Alvin Ramsey; and her siblings, James Cannon, Charles Cannon, Charlie Cannon, Terry Dale Cannon, Katherine Cannon, Audrey Dickerson and Rosemary Hocker.
She is survived by: her children, Michele Richardson, Renee Lee (Scott) and Terri Jackson; her stepchildren, Shannon Moak (Tony) and Eric Ramsey; her sisters, Lynda Roberts Williams (Jim) and Dixie Boyd (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Whitney Waldrop, Karley Smith, Joshua Whittington (Samantha), Blake Ramsey, Triston Lee, Gavin Jackson, Brycen Moak, Addyson Moak, Spencer Smallwood and Gracie Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Abigail Smith, Silas Hart, Jaxon Whittington and Aiden Hodges. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
