She was predeceased by: her father Venon L. Alderman; her husband Jimmy Nations; her siblings, Glenda Alderman and John Alderman; her stepbrother Richard Patterson; and her stepmother Helen Patterson Alderman.

She is survived by: her sons, James Kerry Nations, Jr. (Janet) and Robin Dwayne Nations (Cindy); her stepsister Eileen Patterson Allen; her grandchildren, Cameron Nations (Carly), Shelby Nations, Caroline Nations and Grace Nations; and her great grandchild CeCe Nations.
